I've had given to me, or purchased myself, four different styles over the years, from an antique wooden set, to a very heavy granite set and find I use all four pretty consistently depending upon how gently or crushingly-pulverizing I need my botanicals or whatever, ground-up. ~Carol
Guest guest
I use a handmade shallow wooden bowl and a found granite stone, the size of a large egg to grind my spices and herbs.. Worked in the stone age, still works now.. C-M
