Guest guest
I'm 35, 5'2 and my weight is 145. My goal weight is 120 or so, depending on how I look when I get down there. LOL I'm really getting over the scale weight thing. My pants are almost too baggy now but the scale has only moved 3 or 4 lbs. Here's is my menu plan for today: M1: Egg Beaters, chicken and whole wheat tortilla M2: MRB - Myoplex Lite M3: Chicken and 2 very small white potatos M4: Checken and whole grain rice, salad M5: Whey Protein Shake with frozen cherries M6: Cottage Cheese and peaches, blended together with splenda. I can't stand the cottage cheese any other way and they say it's the best meal to eat right before you go to bed. It takes longer to digest or something. I use FitDay.com to input all my foods as it helps me see exactly where everything is. If I do 1200 calories, I can safely expect to lose 1.5 lbs/week. If I do 1000 calories, it will be 2lbs/wk. I'm also doing cardo every morning at 5am and then weights m/w/f and another cardio on Tues/Thursday and Saturday. I won't take a free day, maybe just a free meal on Sunday. Hope that helps. > > > I know someone already asked about this, but my question is a > > little > > > different. Guest guest
Jeny, you and I are almost identical. I am also 35 (36 in Aug) and 5'2, and as of this morning I was at 135. We really should compare our " plan of attack " and pictures (if I get brave enough to post them) Beej C1W2D9 > > > > I know someone already asked about this, but my question is a > > > little > > > > different. Guest guest
Here is a repost of what I posted from the L & S board. Bill's comments in EFL about calories: " This was posted on the leanandstrong board: " On page of " Eating For Life, " Bill does the Q & A of " How many calories should I consume each day to follow Eating for Life? And what percentage of those calories should be from protein, carbohydrates and fat? I'm not going to quote the whole answer, but a couple of statements: " As you may very well know, and as most experts are most certain of, when you weigh in the weight loss/fat loss of various feeding styles, there's no denying that to burn stored bodyfat for fuel, you absolutely have to creat a 'caloric deficit.' " " Anyway, in terms of calories, I don't encourage people to count them, but I have very meticulously and carefully analyzed the issue. Long story short, I can tell you that if you look at the two weeks' worth of examples of Eating for Life meal plans, which begin on page 330, for women, the average calorie intake per day is right around 1,545. For men, the average is right around 1,925 calories. Of those calories, approximately 38 percent are protein, 44 percent carbohydrate and 18 percent fat. " I encourage people interested in this issue to read that whole page, but I know the question comes up a lot here and I thought it might be informative to clarify Bill ' point of view. " Hope this helps. Colleen > > > > > > <starsburnedout@h...> wrote: > > > > > I know someone already asked about this, but my question is a > > > > little > > > > > different.
