What varieties does it come in? Where do you purchase it from? Sounds a very interesting essence to work with. Hi Folks... Have some reconstituted Yuzu sold as EO.... Cit. Junos Siebold.... Email me if you want to know where it's from... Do it in a candle/water burner this time of year... Makes me grin ..... when Wisconsin only plays at Spring... Now...when it gets hot...it goes into a tissue that hangs in front of the air conditioner.....usually with some grapefruit pressed oil (I suppose that's an EO, but it depends on your definition).... BTW...when ya extract a scent with alcohol.... Use the highest proof or percentage you can find...EverClear 190 if you can find it...(95% it is)... Here in Wisconsin, Everclear isn't around, but I found a 190 Vodka called " Ambur " ... Go figure... Do not overlook spices you might like... Did some cardamom that just turned out spectacular.... Thing is....ya hafta let them age....6 months or more... Think of them as an investment for your perfume bases... Process....mix as much of whichever you have with the high proof alky... Give it a week or two or even longer.... Filter it though a coffee filter twice... Then...age the stuff... At a point, the alky will no longer be a scent issue... You don't have to worry about creepies and crawlies.... 95% alcohol is a great disinfectant in it's own right.. You now have a base upon which to build upon...Most EO/Absolute will go right into it.... I have a vanilla I would kill for, but since I've already made it, no need for drastic action... -- W.
