Guest guest
I'm feeling good. My hubby the saboteur just cooked and ate about 12 big choco chip cookies from a Xmas gift mix my sister in law gave us. I was going to toss it in the garbage, but he got the mix and made it before I knew what was happening. But I'm feeling really happy with myself because, unlike any time in the past, I didn't succumb to that delicious smell and I didn't eat a single one. Rather, I sat here and drank a Myoplex shake in front of him while he wolfed down the 12 cookies. Let's see...how many calories is that? But it's going on HIS tummy, not mine. But this is one of the reasons why I've messed up in the past...there's always an excuse to eat junk. " But it's a Christmas present, we've got to use it and THEN we'll be good. " Well, no more for me. He can mess up all he wants, but not me. I'm keeping to the program and eating clean on the 6 days, with only moderate cheating on the free day. I'm not going to blame my husband for lapses either...that's too easy to do. I'm in control of what I eat (or don't eat, as the case may be!). Here's to success in 2004! Guest guest
YAY! for you!! I am going to make that my mantra too. I will not give in, I will not try to blame it on someone else. I WILL not be embarresed to wear a bathing suit this summer!!! YAY for us! WE (all of us) CAN, WILL DO IT and we won't give in to nasty tempatations, unless, of course it is only a little on our FREE DAY!!! Sunshine ) > I'm feeling good.
