Guest guest
IMHO - most of the EAS products you see in grocery stores, drug stores and Wal-Mart type stores are usually the AdvantEdge EAS products (endorsed by Crawford, no less). I think these are primarily products created my EAS to complete with the mainstream 'weight loss' products, such as Slim-Fast, Power Bars, Atkins Bars, etc. etc. (seems like the shelf at the supermarket gets wider and wider as more companies hop on the band wagon). If you read the labels of these products they are better than some but not much different than others. I don't use these products on BFL unless I'm really in a bind, because they don't typically provide enough protein to suit me for a 'meal'. I have tried many of them and find most to be pretty good, but if you are someone who is wanting to do BFL by the book and eat really clean, there are better options (Myoplex or other quality protein and MRPs or MRBs available through the specialty stores (GNC, VitaminWorld, EAS Online, many other places online) Just my two cents.. Christy in Indiana BFL bars?? My niece was in wal-mart and told me she saw some " bars " that had Body For Life logo on them. Am I just totally from the " boonies " and haven't seen these or are these something new? Gonna have to check it out. Just wondering.....if anyone has tried them are they good? Guest guest
Thanks, I will check those out! Christy in Indiana RE: BFL bars?? Walgreens has Odyssey bars for $1.99 a whole dollar cheaper than GNC. You can't beat Odyssey for taste and stats. 7 net carbs, around 30 grams protein. Both flavors are yummy.
