I personally think it's better to go ahead and eat a carb like an

apple if it means you will stay on track the rest of the day. Most

likely if you skip a meal entirely, you'll get so hungry that you'll

eat anything in sight.

Stay positive and do what you can. It isn't about perfection, it's

about progress.

Good luck.

Thanks for that link--it made me laugh. :o)

I haven't fallen off the wagon yet--I'm really trying to be prepared

and have lots of good healthy food around at all times. This is a

lot easier since my boyfriend is on Atkins, so about the only thing

in the house that could tempt me is cheese. :o)

I'm just *really* looking forward to my free day on Sunday.

Thanks again!

That's pretty much what I was thinking--better an apple than a candy

bar! And I think I'm back on track. If I only slip up once or

twice a week, I think I'll be doing pretty good!

Thanks for the encouragement!

It seems to me that you've conquered one of the hardest

things...getting back on track. Personally I have to eat something,

for me it is better than nothing at all and there are times we just

get into a bind and do the best we can. The key is to get right back

at it the next meal, which you did! You're doing great!

I agree that the hardest part is getting back on track. I know this

is my downfall, when I eat off program and then I let it mess up my

whole day, then a day turns into a week...

I too think eating just the apple is better then nothing, and hey,

it's an apple not a big mack, see your thinking is already changing.

Good Luck!
