Guest guest
I know a lot of us here have invested in some pretty pricey oils. I have heard of large EO companies using a nitrogen blanket to preserve their oils, but didn't know that individuals could do it without a lot of equipment and cost. Coincidentally, I found a product while looking for a gift for my dad - who is a wine lover. It's called Private Preserve, and it is nitrogen in a can. It has a little tube (like a WD-40 can) and you can spray this into the wine bottle to displace the oxygen and keep the wine from oxidizing. It is also advertised for keeping cooking oils fresh as well. I assume it will work for EOs. Has anyone heard of this or tried it? I think it was about 12$ a can, and I thought I'd give it a whirl. I don't remember what site I found it on, but you can google it. Jen
