Guest guest
Well, Hello HELEN!!!!!!!! How are YOU?? How are the girls???? I'm holding my own getting better every day. I was sick all of Dec with a nasty chest infection. It really hit fast and hard and lasted forever!!! In just three days i went from just a head cold, then to blood in my ears and it being in my chest then the next day i was coughing up blood and my lungs were terrible. Scared Nana...kinda scared me too because i had to *fight* the doctors to even get them to do a chest x-ray. They were just going to send me home!!! Stupid doctors, we have to live with our bodied you'd think they'd listen to us more!!!!I have 25 wonderful animals right now!!! We have the 6 chickens we got last spring (Wave, Ripple, Doily, Lace, Barbara and Sy), we now have 6 ducks all together 4 from last spring and our two we got the spring before (Ian, Ducky, Faith, Hope, Jo and Little , my four monster goats (Shane, Noah, Owen, and Alannah), three cats....not sure how that happened since i don't like cats but this is a rescue farm i couldn't just leave them....(, Mr. Kitty and Kit-N-Caboodle...she is our kitten we just got before Thanksgiving), two dogs (still have my wonder dog Flint who just turned 11, and little Aisling (ASH-ling/ASH-lyn) she is my 6 month old pup i got in Oct.), we still have Benny our bunny who just turned 4, and that leaves Nana's two guinea pigs Charlie Brown and Lucy (both females lol no babies here!!!) and her horrible Attack Goose, Zachary!!!! Aisling means "dream" in Gaelic and Alannah means "darling" I've had dogs my whole life, but i've never gotten to raise one from a pup they've always been older when i've gotten them, and When the tech at our vet clinic handed Alannah to me she said "isn't she just darling"....and i totally agreed so they are my darling and my dream!!!Nana is doing pretty well!!! She still loves it here doesn't miss Ca at all!! I miss the kids, but i see them at least once a year and one of them comes out during the summer now so that's been great!!We've been pretty cold but starting to warm up. It was only 9*F Sunday morning when i woke up to get the monsters ready so i could leave for church. The snow we got finally all melted i wish we could get more!!! I already miss it!!!!Well, i need to make sure all the monsters are taken care of and OK to be left alone this afternoon i have to go to Duke...Pulmo appointment...joy joy lol!!!! You take care of yourself Helen!!! Give those beautiful girls a hug for me and no over doing it Helen!!!Jessi -- Re: Jessi------ I'm still alive and folding socks Hi Jessi, Long time no hear!!! Guest guest
i never got to see the x-rays and nope no follow up at all so no follow up x-ray. My pulmo seems to think it was turning into pneumonia from what i could tell her.9* is very cold for us!!!! lol our poor outside animals did NOT like it!!! I had nice shleters for the goats and LOTS of straw down for the ducks and the chickens have their nice little coop and each other to keep warm and Mr. Kitty our wild cat came in and slept for the night so he was nice and warm for probably the first time in his whole life!!I have NO idea how i do it all...they keep me going!!! I didn't see them at all while i was sick. The pup would come check on me every now and then but i was pretty out of it during that time. They just keep me going, i can have the worst day and go out and sit in the goat pen with my monsters for 30-45 minutes and *everything* seems good again!!! I could do without that darn attack goose of Nana's...but she loves that goose so much i could never get rid of it! That darn thing has it out for me though!!! It *loves* Nana...hates me! I was in the duck pen with it tonight making sure they all had water for the night and she penned me up against the fencing and was jumping up at my face just *honking* like crazy...Nana came out and she was a perfect little angel!!!!!!!!!!! Drives me crazy LOL!the pulmo appointment was....interesting! I don't like my pulmo she is always fighting with me about things well today she told me that tomorrow would be her last day full time at the clinic and that she'd only be keeping her "simple" cases.....i wanted to jump up and down because for the first time ever i was *very* happy to be a "complicated" case!!!!! She made me mad though because i have been asking her to scope me for the last two years and she wouldn't, today i was talking to her about things and she said "hmm you need to be scoped sounds like vocal cord dysfunction!"...i wanted to *scream* i had been telling *HER* that for two years...oh well i'll have a new pulmo soon and things will be better!!! LOLOff to bed, the monsters get up early!! Take care k!!Jessi -- Re: Jessi------ I'm still alive and folding socks Did you have pneumonia??? That sounds terrible ... How'd the x ray look???
