Client info on neurofeedback

Does anyone know of a website that provides easy to understand

information about neurofeedback in the treatment of ADHD that I could

print out and pass on to schools and potential clients. All my

information uses a rather technical language.

Thanks

Eva,

I still have a few copies of the audiotape we used in Atlanta. The first side is a presentation of attention and control issues, their correlation with brain activation patterns, neurofeedback and how it can work to change them in non-technical (but relatively sophisticated) terms. The second side is a series of interview with various types of cliens and families about their experience with brain training.

We developed the audiotape when we finally figured out to our astonishment that there is a high percentage of people interested in this field (including school personnel) who don't handle written material very comfortably, but who can slap a tape into the player in the car and listen on the way to and from work.

You can always throw in a bibliography, like the one from SNR's website, to make those who want "heavier" information feel better.

Dear Eva:

You might want to get a copy of the new book by Othmer and Steinberg called ADD- The 20 hour solution. It really describes ADHD and NF well, and gives various cases studies, and great photos of training and brain waves. You can get the book through Amazon.com or any book store. Also, Sue Othmer has a good video about NF, but you might need to be a member of the EEG associates lists? That website is http://www.neurofeedbackyellowpages.com/about.asp

Hope that helps...JoAnn

Dr. sen,

I get case studies and articles off the www.eegspectrum.com site. They have any area for parents and I believe it is easy to understand.
