Hi Janet,

I don't mind answering your question, the adoption was to a friend of my Mom's

best friend, they always knew we could be contacted if that is what

wanted. She said she waited so long because she wanted to be able to handle

rejection in case we didn't want to meet her. Things have worked out well.

is feeling better, finally. thanks for your thoughts.

Happy New Year

What a nightmare of ethics and governance the poor researcher embarked upon.

Ruth

Happy new year

Happy new year to all Senate readers. Researchers, in particular, will be cheered by Brindle's new year article in today's Guardian, describing the 'Euripidean conspiracy' caused by the tortuous road needed to gain ethics and governance approval for NHS research (Those whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad' - Euripides. I do love a learned journalist!) The link is:http://society.guardian.co.uk/comment/column/0,7882,1383059,00.htmlbest wishes

Hey, Happy back at ya', Kirk! Re. the blender, I've had the Osterizer beehive

for seven years, the blades are still razor sharp, and the motor just burnt up

last night . I've never used ice in it, but a great deal of frozen fruit and

lots of almond (oat, buckwheat, whatever) soaks for home made milk. Here's a

link to the actual model:

Now I'll have two canisters and blades for parties!

Also, re the recent info about Government and Big business controlling seeds,

gmo products, etc... I know it's easy to feed into these processes emotionally,

and react to perceived outside control, but it is my perception that,

appearances albeit what they may, humanity has a streak of perfection, a silver

Hi- I wanted to thank you for your last paragraph. It is easy to get

lost in fear of our unenlightened choices resulting in the things such

as reproducing seed restrictions, etc. Believing in our intrinsic nature

and remembering That, 'grows' the 'sprouting' awakening in all us. Diane

Sorry about my typo; of course I meant the other 'wing' of NICE. Could

have fun working out what NICE wong might look like. . . .

Happy New Year

Hi

everyone - hope you're all doing alright so far this year. I wanted to send

you a new year's wish on time, but have pneumonia and really feeling bad.

I

have a question about Augmentin XR 1000 mg. Is it okay to take without

hurting your liver? I know we shouldn't take Tylenol or asprin - so what

should we take for headache's and pain's?

I've

never had pneumonia before and didn't realize how painful it is to breathe.

Well, I didn't want to sound depressing.

Everyone

take care. I love you all.

HiHi Susie and Happy New Year!

For the past 4years or so I've been hospitalized with pneumonia twice a year on average.

No more than 2 grams of Tylenol per day is the rule I was told.

I have also taken Benzonatate (Tessalon Perles) for the cough and sore throat.

Hang in there!

Ok I'm set for the new year. It's still the holiday's I'm doing pretty good and going to pig out on hot dogs and chili. Ok it's low fat low sodium but I have no idea what the hell is in there and ain't gonna look either don't want to know and going to make up for it with frito's corn chips big scoops and french onion dip and may even top it off with a real ice cold coke while I watch the big fire works show courtesy of the Treasure Chest Casino with my feet up or laying in bed watching through my windows or may even venture out on my apt balcony. It's either watch it or not but I still feel the booms inside because it is so close and poor Rat Dog will be under the bed or covers again. Was that a run on sentence or what but damn I'm a happy camper. I'm still breathing and yes still smoking and I'm still here to see another year roll around. Hot damn I bet all the odds and still doing it. Hope Y'all are Happy Camper too if not what the hell get happy what ya got to lose. Peace Love and Rock and Roll. Deb

Glad to hear your on the mend Beth. My Mom must have picked up

something similar but is having a heck of a time getting over it. She

should have been hospitalized after numerous IV's of saline solution to

help bring up her BP, even got her to go in once but she left AMA again.

Ugh! So most of my days have been spent with her, making sure she eats,

drinks, and takes her meds. She's one tough cookie. I wish good

health and happiness to all in the new year.

Oh YEA......

Huge plans.

Marlie and I went to the playground, Whole Foods, picked out snacks, Thai food

takeout

and home watching some Krsna puppet show dvd till she fell asleep. I did this

mad rush to

find a way to get an extra 2500 American Airline miles before midnight (which I

managed

to do) and then at the countdown picked up Marlie brought her in front of the tv

(Times

Square) and counted down with her (she was sleeping thru this mind you) and gave

her a

big hug and kiss and then put her on my bed to pass out again.

And you????????

I need to speak to you, email me or something and let me know when we can chat.

Love,

some of us are interested in other things than vegan mb - like making Order in my house - so that's one of the sites I signed up for - and when I filled in their survey, I happily realized I don't have it as bad as I thought!!! another site was some kind of newspaper, I think (slate??) - because of an article I found somewhere else, on some nostalgic memories of old kosher eateries on NY (would say shmaltzy but not sure everyone would understand)(signed up because I wanted to read other people's responses) and read article on the best of old comics (not comic books, but humorists) - nice going down memory road, tho to be honest I don't really remember them all, that is their material, but do know their names. That brought a smile to my face. Nothing like classic humor!!!! Has crossed 7's come to America, or are you an exception there? Ohhh you are such a good mommy Reggie! I love you guys! Kisses to the both of you!

We did our usually. Order in Chinese food and watch the fireworks from our balcony. Last year for that though since we move in a month. Guess we'll have to start a new tradition in our new place.

I'm home now. Should I call you?
