Guest guest
M ary, The Hasp is a hardware " dongle " that fits into either a USB or Parallel port. This is a copy protection process, which insures that only the purchaser of the software can use it. You should have received the dongle at the time you purchased the software. If you did not, just contact the person you purchased from and ask to get the dongle. Guest guest
: The “hasp” is also known as a “dongle.” It is a “key” that plugs into the usb port to make the program work. It should have come with the software. Guest guest
, You got two things when you got BioExplorere: A CD with the program on it A plug-in device (called a Dongle), which goes into your USB port. The Dongle is required to open the program. You can install the software on any number of computers, but to use it on one, you must have the dongle plugged in. If you don't you'll get the error message you got. Plug it in and the software will open fine. Pete BioEx installation problems Hi Pete and others,I purchased BioEx last summer but have not been able to get it to work. I am now trying again. I get it installed and it says installation complete and then when I try to launch it, the following error message pops up:HAQSP not found (-3)
Guest guest
Yeah it worked!! The first CD always gave me an error message " error writing to temporary files. " The actual (non beta CD) works! Thanks -- I had no idea the little piece of hardware was the only issue. Now I'll have to actually hook it up with the brain master and get going!!! Many, Many thanks!!!
