Guest guest Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 I did my first sprouting and it turned out great. All I used was about a quarter bag of lentals. (That was all I had in the cupboard). I used a big plastic margarine bowl. I would crack the lid just a little to allow me to strain the water. I'm wondering what would be the difference if you used lima beans, since they are so much larger than the lentals. The other thing I am wondering is, if the sprouting process changes the nutrient value of the bean in any way. I would guess exposing them to the sunlight would cause them to take on chloraphil and vitamin C, but I can't see that it changes any, otherwise. --------------------------------- Photos Ring in the New Year with Photo Calendars.
