What are you all recommending for after lap band adjustments? Our surgeon just switched to 6 days of warm clear liquids, then 1 day each of fulls, pureed, minced, etc. I have gotten many complaints that patients are hungry. I need to justify to my surgeon why 6 days is too long on clears (we do include a clear liquid protein supplement, Isopure). Thanks!!!

Currently we do 3 days of clear liquids and 3 days of full liquids postop before moving on to pureed, etc.

The surgeon I work with is high protien liquid x 6 weeks. This is to maximize initial weight loss and prevent vomiting, which can cause band slippage.
