Guest guest
A while back there was a posting about a protein shake called "NUTRAPRO" It was apparently marketed by a food service company that also distributes pureed/molded foods, fortified cookies, etc. It provided 80 kcal, 16 g protein (?volume). Does anyone know how to obtain more info on the product and where to obtain it? I tried Hormel-no luck Thanks in advance, Sue Manchester Protein Supplements and sweetn low Hello, I recently posted a message asking if anyone new of any "good" soy protein supplements. I want to thank all that replied as some very good suggestions were sent our way. My colleague and I are faced with another protein supplement challenge as one of our patients claims to have major "intolerances" to any sugar substitue (i.e. splenda, stevia, equal) with the exception of sweet-n-low. Thus, we are having difficulties finding a protein supplement for her that will be appropriate after surgery. We have thought of using products such as Beneprotein powder; however, she would need quite a bit to reach her daily proteinneeds. Therefore, does anyone know of any protein supplement using "sweet-n-low" (saccharin) as the artificial sweetner? Thanks in advance, we appreciate all of your suggestions! Guest guest
Sue, I just wiped out all my samples in my office because of a JCAHO survey but I think that nutrapro is from the Nutra/balance people. try 1-800-654-3691. It may not be marketed as of yet. It tastes pretty good. I believe 15 gm pro in 4oz., but I believe it was rather on the expensive side. Give them a try.
