Diagnosed on my birthday - now my cancerversary Aug 2007 beginning of

On Glivec since end of August 2007

I have been on 600mg

I was slowly introduced to glivec from commencement of diagnosis

I have had no other drug or other treatment

100mgs for 2 weeks

200mgs for 2 weeks

400mg for 4 weeks

600mg ever since

I had 2 weeks break from glivec for my operation in April

So say a good 12 months
