Hello everyone

Can someone confirm for me what time Dr. Thom's cancer conference is starting

tomorrow at Boucher. I am in Vancouver already and have all the details

carefully recorded at home. Thanks. (I am assuming it is still on despite

the weather.) Thanks.

Eating Well after weight loss surgery by Patt Levine and Michele Bontempo-Saray seems to give patients a lot of information and makes them feel secure that it is written specifically for wls. We ordered it off Amazon.com for under $15. We have put it in our hospital library for patients to check out and we leave a copy in the waiting room if they want to look through it. I know there are others that I saw on Amazon when I was looking for the above book! Good luck

Hi All,

I was curious if anyone could refer me to any cookbooks that I could recommend to my patients. We recently purchased Culinary Classics however some of the recipes are very high in fat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

I like Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery by Patt Levine and Michele Bontempo-Saray. It modifies recipes for the different stages after recovery and has nutrition info on each recipe. Some of the recipes have a lot of ingredients and look like they might be a bit involved, but I have had a few patients get the book and they seem to enjoy it. ODonnell <jlod2@...> wrote:

Two I like, which are not bariatric but protein-focused are "eating for life" by Bill , and Ray's new 30 minute get real meals. If you are prescribing ultra low carb, however, these would not work.

Thanks to everybody who recommended cookbooks. Would anybody have a hand out of cookbooks that they would like to share? It would just save a bit of time compiling info.

Thanks

Hi Lea Ann,

Was wondering if you meant "Live Fresh" cookbook or "Whole Food" cookbook, instead of "Whole Fresh." Although maybe there is that title out there somewhere in internet-land. :o)

Oh, and by the way, I did order a dry container just in case you haven't been notified. Thank you so much!

Hey Lea Ann, hope you're doing well today. I was wondering if you have any of the Whole Food cookbooks left? If so, I would like to buy one from you. Let me know how to proceed. I have a Paypal account if you want to send me an invoice at fc@... (my home email). Thanks so much!
