Kassia,

I'm so sorry to hear that about your dad. My prayers are with you and your family.

good morning all, got word about my dad. they finally confirmed cancer so he will be in the hospital for another week for beginning treatments. i have along ride to the hospital(the veterans hospital is quite a distance but they do offer the best care and no to minimial costs). this morning i still wanted something to loosen me up but i couldn't pick a yoga dvd to do so i did denise austin's j.h.pilates video. i believe this was her first pilates made video as well as the first pilates video i ever owned. ah i remember the days when i couldn't even do half of these exercises without modifing. i can do them but they still propse challenge, its great. there are 2-20 min. workouts. the first workout is basic pilates routine and she has a class of background exercisers and soft music playing. she is no where near annoying in this video and she speak with a soft, gentle voice. the second workout is a mixed of

traditional yoga flow poses, very similar to sun salutations, and pilates. she does some intermediate/advanced balance poses and does all yoga before doing the pilates workout.she does this workout solo and with no music. i feel quite lossened, relaxed, but yet i still feel i got a great workout in. i know some don't care for denise austin but this video is still a great one. i might eventually get it on dvd,and i believe the dvd has a bonus workout for lower body which would be well worth it b/c the dvd is only $10 at most places. well i have to clean viola up and get myself a shower, lots of prep before we treck on over to mom's and make the long drive. have a great day kassia

thanks michelle, i am glad we finally know something and its something they are optimistic about treating its just going to be hard with treatments. the chemo alone is very aggresive they they only do 1-2 sessions a month. he was worried for the past month that its was going to be a new disease they couldn't figure out LOL. they figured it has lymphoma but he didn't have the normal syptoms like fevers, troubles breathing or eating(he was developing a large lump on the neck) so they were stump so they had to do a zillion blood tests, mri's and bone marrow tests before they finally came to the conclusion. it just drives me to do to better at working out right now. i planned on doing a 5k run so hopefully they will do one for cancer. they have this lovely trail near a place called "brick awarness garden" were family members can have bricks engraved with loved ones names that have survived or passed on in this beatiful

garden. i believe they do some runs there. sorry so long and off topic LOL have a great day kassiafitgrl222@... wrote: Kassia, I'm so sorry to hear that about your dad. My prayers are with you and your family. *~**~*
