Guest guest
How is your precious daughter? I've been looking and asking around about cultural things for her. Here in San Francisco my husband, friend, and I are going to the Asian Art Museum next weekend. Being in SF there are many of those things here, and Angel island, where all Chinese persons were kept during the war...it is a sad place. How have you been? We will waste years of our valuable energy and time trying to change someone for the better because we see their "potential". Hey, potential is as common as hair; everyone has some. It doesn't mean it can be styled into anything spectacular, or that it is going to last. ~Sibyl McLendon
Guest guest
Thanks ! We are doing ok. Just had my allegry testing today. I feel like crap!!!! I have never itched in so many places at once. The last few days without allergy medicines has been hard. My friend is in the last stages of the cancer. He is amazing to me! He is still working and doing what he can. I don't think he tells me everything he is going through. He knows me to well that I would worry to death. I still can't imagine my life without him but I have to believe there is a plan. Kaylee is great! Recently I have found some chinese pictures that I have loved and bought. I had been hoping to get pictures from where she was abandon in China. I didn't get the information to the company in time. Maybe it was best. Kaylee will be 4 on June 23rd. Do the Chinese do anything special on birthdays? I have her enrolled in preschool but I am afraid she is going to be a little bored. All my doctors tell me she is very smart. She amazes me when she copies what I print. She knows all abc's, count to 30, write her name, colors, shapes, and wants to learn words. I am thinking about moving back in with my parents. They need my help and I feel like I need to save for Kaylee's schooling. Anybody have any advice. We get along and they take care of Kaylee anyway. I could get out of debt and do more for Kaylee. I think my mind is made up but always open to comment. Love, Kristie
Guest guest
Kristie, I've been through allergy testing....arrrrgh! And if you react to one...shots all up and down your back is your reward. I don't envy you, friend. ;P Please keep in touch about , because I have a feeling you will need us as he is ready to go....I hope you have talked with him and let him know how you feel. I'm going to email my father-in-law (born in China) and ask him about Chinese traditions for you. My husband is too westernized, I know more customs than he does I think it is wonderful that you can move back in with your folks....I would if they liked me I'm sure Kaylee wouldn't mind, more love for her! (not to mention built-in babysitters!) Keep in touch when you can, and I'll get the Chinese customs for you as soon as I can. I may have to do some research, my father-in-law is getting on in years, but he is well-versed in Chinese culture. Have a great day! Hugs, Re: Kristie W Thanks ! We are doing ok.
