I think that is a good idea Terri...it is about education and it is in list like

this and soaping forums i learned the most. I spent time researching by reading

books and searching the web when I first started but more than anything else was

soap list that helped me. Moreover, I never stop learning. So it doesn't

matter if one has been soaping for ten years...you could have been doing it

wrong for ten years hahahahaha. continuing education for us all is key.

I think the main thing to remember about incomplete or no ingredient lists is we

need to educate those who aren't in the know. It may not be their fault for not

listing ingredients. If one isn't told how to list things then they go about

doing whatever they think they can do or need to do. In the situation of perhaps

the new soapmaker at a craft show that has improper labeling.... come on...

We've all been there, right? The noobie on the block. Introduce yourself... then

suggest this group not in a way that says " you don't label properly " but as a

group of soapmakers who enjoy each others company, who share ideas, who have

years of experience and who are willing to help with just about anything from

soaping questions to marketing ideas.

Shaye I don't know if this has been thought of but how about putting something

in the files or docs that members could print out with info about the group or

maybe a sheet of business cards with the group address and website address.

ok going back into my soapless cave. I have got to make soap in the next few

weeks or my family is going to have to use commercial soap *sCrEaM*
