Guest guest
I do love it Lea Ann. I use the soup and frozen desserts cycles all the time. I do tend to use the variable cycle for smoothies if my fruits and veggies are frozen, as they need more time. If using fresh greens, the preset smoothie cycle is perfect. Also, I love the way it looks - it's like having all new stainless steel kitchen appliances LOL. As far as the extra money, I think both machines are great but different people will want different options. Kind of like purchasing a great car or a great car with all the bells and whistles.Debbie How do you like the Pro 500 Debbie? Do you use the pre-sets much? Do you think a Pro 500 is worth the extra $150 over the 5200 without the pre-sets?Thanks for your input - I've always been curious :-) Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)))><'>www.VitamixLady.comwww..com<))>< On Mar 13, 2012, at 8:32 PM, beachbums wrote: I have the Pro 500 Vitamix and it has 3 preset cycles plus the variable speeds. You can do the same thing running the 5200 on high until the water gets hot.Debbie
