Guest guest
I am not a doctor, but it sounds like sinus to me. Boy, messing with my stuff really gets to me. I am now well enough to do little bits of it at a time. Even with my best mask, it gets to me. If I don't watch it closely, I can get really sick just from stirring things up. If you call around to different pharmacies, you can get prices on meds, and they can vary widely. My pharmacy just got a price change on my diflucan generic, which is only about 30 cents a pill. Cheap. Sometimes they charge 13.00 a pill for the name brand, but even generics can be too pricey- it used to be just under 11$? a pill or something, so I complained about it and they shopped around, got a better deal. The best price I have seen is at Costco, but I am not a member there; though they do answer price questions. I think there are differences in treatment protocols; some use antifungal nasal sprays and orals too, some just use oral pills. If it is a bacteria, I guess antibiotics would help, but I didn't personally get much help that way- just a bad case of candida. Antifungals get rid of candida too. Even if you take antibiotics, you might want to do a little antifungals too and probiotics, etc. for the yeast. > > I am preparing to move, started packing about a week ago. Guest guest
What about simple washing the sinus out with saline.. (you can make this yourself with water and salt) - several times a day.. That will help a lot. Also, run fans at high speed, both into and out of your house, while you are moving anything.. And wear a mask/eye protection.. I rigged up a vaccumn that HEPA filters and then exhausts the filtered air out (of the house) through a tube.. I still am working on this to get it to work right.. (need a wider hose for exhaust to reduce the back pressure - anyone know where to get a long one?) but it does seem to help.. But I still get tired.. but not as bad as before.. Am only pecking away at the edges of my stuff, though.. On 2/1/06, kl_clayton <kl_clayton@...> wrote: > I am not a doctor, but it sounds like sinus to me.
