Guest guest
I wonder if this little boy had a mold-contaminated house before his cancer...it sounds like it. Judi Life-Changing Illness Forces Family to Change Home Eau Jan 15, 2006 Three-year-old Josh Schwichtenberg is making progress in his chemotherapy and could come home soon. An Eau family needs to make renovations to their home before they can bring their three-year-old son home from Leukemia treatment. Josh Schwichtenberg was diagnosed with the disease this summer. Josh has undergone six rounds of chemotherapy since August. He and his mom Lori moved to Rochester for the treatment. " He is doing so well, " says Lori Schwichtenberg. " So many times the doctors come in and say, 'did you tell this child he's on chemo? You know he has cancer,'. He's just always happy, even with he is the sickest. " Josh's dad and two sisters are still living in Eau , working hard to fix-up their house so it is safe for Josh to live in again. " We are replacing the carpets in the house to make sure there is no mold or dust anywhere, " says Lori Schwichtenberg. " We're having mold inspections done and we're having a HEPA air filter installed. " The family's church, 's Well, has stepped up to help pay for the home makeover. The church is planning a benefit to raise $20,000 for them. It is scheduled for Sunday, February 12th at Bethesda Lutheran Church. It is a spaghetti dinner, raffle and silent auction.
