Guest guest
Meant Barf......not Baaf. Either way gross.......My dad said that it is normal to have mold in a hvac unit and the AC guy said also. I know everyone on the planet does not have fur growing in the hvac and insulation and floor joist ETC. I can't get anyone to understand but at least my mom kind of gets it since I almost died from a penicillin shot when 12. People get maybe the allergic part but not the toxigenic and pathogenic part. The hvac guy will be back today to finish and I'll be glad to have all these people gone! Today were 10+ trucks or so and all three companies here at one time. Was just a trip hearing people talking under my house. Carl, that isn't normal to have mold in hvac with furries is it? I can't imagine that is normal. I didn't see the whole unit just the plenum which a duct guy called it that last year. My dad actually said that fur was from my animals. That is insane and how could animal fur get thru a filter esp. when I changed 2-3 a month just to ensure air was circulating. I'm going to use the highest merve pleated filter. Highest I found was 11 at Lowes and if I can get any better, let me know b/c I want the best. Been told that air can't circulate good if they make a merve too high which makes sense. I'm glad I have people here that have experienced all this b/c I have never seen people in such denial about mold in my life. My dad still laughs at me and I think he got the lung disease from digging under my house and around it ETC when he tried to figure out years ago if he could fix the drainage problem. He also ended up with prostate cancer but can't convince him. Heck, when he was a little boy, he lived in a house that you could throw feed thru and feed chickens so he surely doesn't get it. Now, I've got to figure out how I can find a doctor for treatment and how to pay. Just spent $11,000 and I have to pay that in 5 years. Will need a car before then too so it's hard to survive being a mold victim esp. with hardly any support mentally from people right here around me. I think I did good to find who I hope were the correct people to take care of this crap but nobody that I'm in contact with locally gives me support. I feel like a detective and really hope I corrected the problem. The mold remediation guy said he saw issues with where my washer is and kitchen sink as far as looking under the house. Now I wonder about that and if I still have MOLD. I have a washer that I've had maybe 3 years that if you use on superwash will leak from underneath so I don't use superwash much and mold guy said that isn't normal to leak. Under kitchen sink, never seen lots of water but have recipes under there where you can tell the paper has been wet and dried. I have lino in my cabinets under bathroom and kithcen sink I put from left over lino when I moved in. Guess I'll hire a plumber to look at sink and whoever looks at washers. Dangit, my last washer leaked oil which was gross and now this one leaks water. It's like I'm doomed with washers. I'll never know about my walls/floors. Well, that's my venting and going to crash. I'm not sure how I lived thru all this so far. Of course, people think I'm just fine and dandy but I'm burned out to the max! Wish I had got the news channel out here but I just can't do it all by myself. Today was a hoot with everyone here. My neighbors know what is happening on each side of me but I'm surprised no one else has questioned. Seen people slow down and people walking dogs etc. looking real hard. Guess it's obvious I have a water intrusion problem being on a hill. It's probably more healthy under my house than inside now. Oh, one more thing the ac guy was dragging stuff on wet yard and I told him would you please not contaminate my new stuff. The waterproofing company also had the encapsulation all across my front yard so everything they put under there got contaminated with my wet yard. What will that do under my house? Hope the dehumdifier takes care of that. I find that really stupid of them to do that. They obviously do not get it either. Am I being paranoid? When mold remediation company took out my air ducts they sealed them off but looked like mold on outside of them and they had them laying on the ground where today ac guy had my new stuff laying on the same dirt. That just freaked me out and they had the duct boots on the ground and I picked them up and put in a box they had and said PLEASE!!!!!! The dummies kept walking in my house with work boots on too and finally the ac guy put booties on top of his boots. They just don't get it and probably think yep, this chick does have brain damage. I really feel like I can't get away from this crap!! OK, this time passing out. Rhonda
