Guest guest
I just came to realize it is likely I have mold in my lungs from cleaning out my elderly parents basement, which is covered with mold. I had a pretty severe allergic reaction all weekend, which included a racing heart, shortness of breath, and painful, swollen armpits. I was diagnosed with asthma about a month ago. I took a lot of precautions while working, including airing out the house for an hour first, wearing masks, and head to toe old clothing. but it would not be that hard for some of the mold to have made it to my lungs. Plus I was on immuno suppressing drugs for a long time, so that makes me more susceptible. I called my dr, turns out she already works with Dr. Marinkovich long distance. She said before we pay for his tests, she is going to have me take a strong diflucan dose today, and if I get flu like reaction from the mold die off, then we know I have mold and can proceed. Tricky!
