Guest guest
Called Regional Waterproofing and they said they treat for mold also and send a sample to a lab. I doubt their testing will tell me everything. I may see if they will test air from vent or return. Ok, here's another mold treatment. None have used the same product. Anabec. Tell me what you know about this one. Regional said they have a 10 year warranty and if any mold comes back, they treat free. Called another AC man and finding out if he can replace just the plenum. Not sure about the coil and whatever else is part of the HVAC b/c I don't know all about HVAC but did replace a coil a year ago and maybe it's not contaminated or can't get into my house if is. Cost me $800 for that coil too. I'll ask AC man to clean whatever on the HVAC that needs cleaning. At least if I get a new plenum it will be fresh and get one without fiberboard insulation. I know the ducts and my house has spores. They suggest taking animals and me out of house for 3 hours. Claim no problems with animals but I know they can't know that for sure. It can take years after exposures to products. Be easy if I just had cats but 6 bunnies isn't going to be easy and they are bonded in pairs and get really distressed when taken out of their enviroment. I will wait til their sample testing results come back then may get a hygenist to come. Regional says they take care of the mold, encapsulate the crawl space and do the waterproofing and probably will suggest a de-humidifier and sump pump. My guess the waterproofing estimate - $7000-10,000. Guess they will see the shoty job the building did. I bet it's clogged too. Seems under the encapsulation would mold since dirt is WET. I'm tired of thinking about all this. Airistar emailed me and said that mycotoxins are 2-90 microns and theh Hexflow purification can remove 99.97 particals above 0.3. micron. Said the purification process easily trapped with their purification process. Shows a 6 state purification chart on their site. Who knows....
