Once I got over the shock about the gathering, and tying up all loose ends, we were set to enjoy ourselves once again. It was great seeing family and having our grandchildren around, and also very busy, esp. since both sides of the family live in the same town. We'd planned to stop at Cedar Point on our way back home, and while there, my dd got hurt on a ride and had to go to the ER to make sure she hadn't injured her vertebrae. As it turned out, she just strained muscles; but, by the time we'd finished, it was too late and we were too tired to travel home, so we stayed overnight in a hotel. Thankfully, we easily found one that would accept our dogs! We just returned home last night. Ahh, what fun.
