Guest guest
These are two Vitamix demonstrator friends of mine. They are so funny! And they've done what I've long dreamed of doing - a side by side comparison of the two machines: Vitamix vs. Blendtec Round #1 - Smoothies Vitamix vs. Blendtec Round #2 - Sorbets Vitamix vs. Blendtec Round #3 - Soups Vitamix vs. Blendtec Round #4 - Ice Cream Vitamix vs. Blendtec Round #5 - Sound Vitamix vs. Blendtec Round #6 - Grain Milling Vitamix vs. Blendtec Round #7 - Ice Vitamix vs. Blendtec Round #8 - Nut Butters Blessings, Lea Ann Savage Satellite Beach, FL (321) 773-7088 (home) (321-961-9219 (cell) www.VitamixLady.com www..com <))><
Guest guest
These are great! What a couple of goons, lol. I like that they are a realistic comparison. Now that I have both a Vitamix and a Blendtec,, I was planning to do some similar videos, but they have done a good enough job that I don't need to! Will they mind if I share their channel? From: Lea Ann Savage <lsavage@...>Subject: Vitamix vs. Blendtec Videos Date: Sunday, October 23, 2011, 3:14 PM These are two Vitamix demonstrator friends of mine. Guest guest
Well........you are supposed to push the Whole Juice button on the Blendtec not the smoothie button. What they were making would be considered whole juice in the Blendtec cook book. The whole juice cycle lasts longer and has more speedups and slow downs. Not sure if I have ever put a whole apple in my Blendtec but I will try and report back. Guest guest
Blendtec was at my Costco this last week. My boys areen't picky, they'll eat anyone's samples so they stood and ate while I shopped. When I came back to fetch them, they were *very* concerned b/c the rep was, as usual ime, selling Blendtec by berating VM and they were buying his line. The really funny thing was, tho, that as I was standing there and the demo guy was just saying how superior blendtec is bc it doesn't 'need' a tamper like the VM, his frozen ingredients got stuck in the corners of his container. The blade was whining and spinning freely in the container, not contacting any ingredients. He shook the machine around, banged the top, jiggled, rocked. Could not get ingredients to come out of the corners. Too bad he didn't have a tamper. The irony cracked me up.... I know there are Blendtec owners on this list and I don't mean this to sound negative against the machine. But I think its always a mistake for a salesman to try to sell their product by being negative about a compeptitor. Better to 'sell' your own product on its merits.
