Geranium/Rosemary/Patchouli.....I don't know the ratio and can't find her email address, She's on this list. Where are you? Smells great! I love it. My MT insists on sticking to her lavender pecan oil tho. Guest guest Posted April 14, 2001 Report Share Posted April 14, 2001 Aww don't worry about it, some people honestly do not like patchouli at all and everyone is entitled to their honest opinion ....I am not entirely crazy about it myself, just wanted to show that some sweet orange would calm it down...it actually works very well with rose geranium, kinda musky scented... It is a base scent, with a scent that is deep, warm, smoky, earthy, woody with some sweetness. Perhaps damp earth combined with burnt wood and molasses. Great for the nervous system, a sedative great for insomnia. Very grounding. Strong scent and expensive. The best one is called Bourbon Vetivert. Hope that helps! Sweet Orange is risky to use in a leave-on product such as lotion or body mist because of the photosensitivity issue----Marge, are you there? Sweet Orange is one of my favorite scents and I use it for cleaning quite a bit since it cuts grease well. I actually mix it with borax to clean the tub!
