I JUST posted my input on the swap and then noticed that Kathy just wrote

something too. Now I feel bad that I didn't write with the charm and

compliments like Kathy did.

I agree that everyone was soooo nice and generous. I have loved all of the

wares that I have tried so far. I'm sure everything else will be just as

wonderful. The cookies from were gone in about a minute flat. I am

pregnant, so I have an excuse for now.

I agree that trading and bartering were the best, but cash is good in a

pinch. I think that we all understand that some things are more expennsive

and/or time consuming to make than others.

I am looking forward to the next swap!!!

Kathy... sorry, there were not any extra jars of jam or anything left at my

house. So Sara, did you come out ahead maybe? Or did someone else count too

many when they got home?

Therese

Hi Kathy,

You sure do know how to say things to make people feel good. Just wanted

you to know that your jars of food fit in every bit as good as everyone

elses. Never noticed any difference. I loved meeting you and everyone else

too. It truly is a pleasure to have a face with a name. Hope we do

continue this. Jane

Thanks Therese for hosting the first food swap. You were a great hostess!

I'm really glad to hear that the swap went well! The first attempt made at

doing something like

that was shortly after I first formed this list a couple of years ago. The only

attendees were

the hosts (Greg and his wife and son) and myself!
