Guest guest
JUST AMAZING! (if you like carrot juice) I broke out my Champion Juicer and juiced a bunch of carrots. Lucky for me, the amount of carrots I had on hand made EXATLY 4 cups of carrot juice! I poured 3 cups of the carrot juice into several 5 oz paper cups (in a baking dish to keep them from tipping over) filled the cups about half full. I reserved 1 cup of the carrot juice, and used my food saver to suck out the air from a mason jar (to help reduce oxidation) while I waited for the carrot juice in the cups to freeze. Turns out the 3 full cups of frozen liquid is too much. There was what looks like at least 1/2 cup left over after I put the juice cubes in the 32 oz. container. I guess that the air pockets are part of the measuring process, because I was up to the 4 cup line in the 32 oz. container before I had used up all of the juice cubes. Blended into a sorbet and meant to eat about 1/2 of it (2 cups) but ended up eating almost all of it! YUM!
