Guest guest
Will, Have you said what is your favorite brand of VCO? Right now I have Tropical Traditions and I'll have to say I'm not crazy about it. And I bought a gallon! I have a pint jar of Wilderness Family Naturals waiting for when I manage to finish up the other. I'm about 1/2 way thru it. Guest guest
Now olive oil, that is another story. I have the same problem with it that > you described... Kathy, do you refrigerate your olive oil? It isn't necessary as long as you use it up reasonably soon. If it were sitting out for a year or so, then I would worry about rancidity. I have a large container of top-quality olive oil from Italy that has sat unrefrigerated for about a year and it's still as fresh as when I opened it. ~Joe
Guest guest
Joe, I do off and on, especially in the summer, because I don't know what reasonably soon is...Maybe it's not necessary. I don't suppose the ancient Greeks and Romans refrigerated their olive oil. Kathy > Now olive oil, that is another story. Guest guest
According to Sally Fallon, olive oil does not need refrigeration.
