Thanks for posting the link, Shaye. The segment is very cool; I

loved the segway from packaging the soap at your house to selling at

the craft show. Were your girls excited to see Mom on TV? Have you

checked the stats on your website for the past couple days? I bet

they are very high.

Foot has good days and bad days---pretty much dependent on how much

I'm doing. If I overdo (like planting hundreds of garlic in one

afternoon)or if I feel I must wear girl shoes, then it puffs right

back up. I was so bummed that I couldn't use all those fun soakie

things in the swap for so long. This past weekend I used your dry

bath oil and love it!!!

You better get cranking out lots of batches of soap. Oh, loved your

bottle caps too. Are they actual bottle caps?

SHAYE....I just saw the video...IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!

Thanks so much for posting the link! You did an awesome job!!! You looked

great-so calm and poised, and were able to talk with confidence while making the

soap-wow! I would have been so nervous. What a great form of publicity. I

hope it brings lots of orders. You make such wonderful products-you deserve the

Carol I was soo nervous. I think it was easier to talk while doing

something than sitting there during the interview. I had somethng

else to focus on. Some of those shots around my kitchen I didnt even

know he took, like my bakers rack, and my soap tag and he took one out

my kitchen window.

Yea the kids are very excited about it too! Some of their friends saw

it, of course she had told them about it first.

So I only got one order that day and I did get a couple emails from a

feother folks, but the cool think is a girl I use to work with about

13 or 14 years ago and lost touch with, saw it and emailed me so it

was nice to hear from her again. It did force me to update my website

LOL cuz there were parts that were not finished, like dropdown boxes

and descriptions.

One guy emailed me about soemthing I want all your opinions on.... He

makes his own biodeseil fuel and a byproduct of that is this

glycerin. It didnt sound like the same as we buy to add to lotions

and such, probably more unrefined, but anyway he says he has buckets

of this stuf and wondered if I could use it. Im thinking I dont know

who would want to buy it, but I told him to send me a pound cuz I was

curiuos what it was. What do you guys think of this? Sounds like

parts of the process are much like soapmaking. He uses used restraunt

grease, lye, and methenol(something like that) I dont know, I just

dont think its something that I could or should incorporate in

anything.

Hey Deb! Good to hear from you! Things are going good here. The hot selling

thing for me right now is these bottlcap pins. I am fixing to do a bunch

more for xmas. And tomroow I am meeting with my artist freind so she can

choose (I got about 20 images from artwork she gave me the other day) wich

ones she wants and not wants and how many of what ect... And another freind

wants me to make some with vintage cats so she can take to her show and sell

for me.

Thanks ! Glad your at least having soem good days on your foot.

Hubbys leg is almost better. You can even start seeing it on the xrays but

they said if you were to look at the bone in person you would see that its

is all filled up inside. Something like that LOL. Only thing now he still

has a limp because of the range of motion is not 100% yet but in time that

will come. Sure has been a long time healing.

The bottle caps are indeed real bottle caps. I buy them unused (people ask

me if I drink a lot LOL) and uncrimped so they have that flair out on the

edges.

I can remember my grandmother 's grape juice exploding in the cellar all

winter long. My sisters and I thought it was so funny. I can also remember

the capping mechanism, wish I still had that. Had a sister that threw

everything away..
