Guest guest
It looks like Ramona (who is 25 with ds) is going to have to have another ear tube, just in the left ear. She has a long history of ear woes. I laid them all out in my blog tonight (http://2grandmas2.blogspot.com/) so I'm not going to do it again, but you can read our tale of woe if you want. The upshot of it all, she's had multiple tubes, an eardrum repaired. more infections, and now a new tube. The tube will go through the repair and the hope is that she'll wind up with a permanent, very tiny hole in that eardrum. Because it just doesn't drain, the fake eardrum is inpermeable so no help there, and built up fluid must be given a way out. If for no other reason than that Ramona is in pain, all the time. Has anyone else continued to have these issues into adulthood? Any wise words? Love to hear them in Seattle (and yes, I'm pretty sleepless these days) mom to Ramona 25 ds, -- http://2grandmas2.blogspot.com/ http://nondairyfairy.blogspot.com/ Please click each day to help others, IT'S FREE! http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CTDSites
