I don't know. I'm looking for suggestions from folks who have

actually used some slab molds & can recommend them to me. I don't

make a ton of cp, and only small batches, so I don't want to spend

alot.

Colleen who was it that won the soap mold last year, the one that

when soap is done curing just release from mold and done. Bars all

cut for you. Maybe she can tell you how good it is, and Shaye can

let you know how the cost is. Also Sue of Creekside soaps, whom is

here in our group, she sells them.

Colleen, I have some of the Bramble Berry (was Sun Gold Soaps molds) and I'm

happy with them. I really like my log molds better, They're the ones I got

from 's site. Depends on the size bar you are looking to make.

LOL! Something I don't have to cut without guidance. You should see

the process I go thru to cut my log soaps now. They are never cut the

same way twice, nor are they ever even, nor do they ever weigh the

same as the next bar cut. Ugh!

That's why I like 's molds and cutter.

And yes, the Bramble Berry molds give you nice, uniform bars. Worth the

expense imo.

Hi Colleen,

I have a couple of divided molds from Kelsei's Creations. The work really

well and there's no lining to be done. Even bars every time.

I am looking for suggestions on slab molds to use with cp soapmaking.

I am tired of my loaf mold & not being able to cut straight.

I'm looking into getting a slab mold so I can swirl, and prefer

something that's divided or has some sort of cutting lines on it.

I would need it to hold 2-4 pounds of soap.

I want to know what you use & what has worked for you. I appreciate

any info you can share. Thanks!

I agree Jeanie; Im thinking of investing in one of her cutter sets;

because they have a guide cut in the wood so the cutter it self wont

go in any other direction but straight down!!!

I baught 2 loaf molds from Carol, and I have to tell yeah the first

batch I messed up cutting with ruler and cutting tool. Was not

happy. The cutting tool went down straight at first then started

going diagnally(sp) and messed up my soap!! SI should have kept

going slow like molasses LMAO.

Gabby, you're right. The slots (guides) are so nice. They make every bar

the same size.
