Guest guest Posted May 3, 2006 Report Posted May 3, 2006 Whoa what a mess of pills! This is the kind of pt I like to see as we can usually eleminate many of them. Has she had renin and aldo measured? Has her Dr had her collect a 24 hr urine for Na and K to see how much she is eating? Spior takes at least 1 week to have much effect. The swelling was due to the norvasc and eathing too much salt. Did she celebrate the lose of swelling with a big feast? She may need more spiro. Her chest pain likely means she has CAD and angina that appeared when BP went up. May your pressure be low! Guest guest Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Dear Dr. Grim, In the morning by mother's BP was 70/50. We took her to Muir medical center in Walnut Creek. Then she passed out in the hospital and her heart stopped twice. Her hart rate was down to the low 30s. Now it is night time and her BP is 200/60 and her heart rate jumps from 30-90 up and down. Her K is 5. Do you have any suggestions for her case? Also, do you have a contact number in case the doctor here agrees to call you? Farah Rahbar Quote
