What would be the best thing to do for circulation with Type II Diabetes?

He has serious circulation problems to hands and feet. Would soaking feet

and hands in Hydrogen Peroxide help as I read that when it is mixed with

water it becomes oxygen. I mentioned the diet to him and he is getting a

vita mix machine. So hopefully that will give him some help. Any suggestions

with his circulation problems would be appreciated

Dear fastrack,

H2O2 bathing is good. Homozon is also good. Methylene blue will help too.

Best of Health!

Circulation as in D. Foot is helped with HBOT, If you or your friend

have type II diabetes, SHE/HE should see a MD about HBOT which should be

covered by their insurance, Please do not take a chance in the loss of

your foot.

I would try a foot-swinger machine. I have seen names like Oxyciser, chi

machine, swingmaster & foot shaker. They sell from $99 to $480. I have one and

several friends bought one after trying mine once.

They really do exercise the muscles. If you start off too fast or long you will

feel the workout in your muscles the next day. They cause the circulation of

blood, exercising the heart, oxygenating the brain, etc. It is said to be

aerobic exercise. I love mine!

BUT, joint problems might contra-indicate use of this machine.

Thank you for your answers to Circulation and Type II Diabetes.

Saul how much would I use for bathing with Methylene blue or Hydrogen Peroxide,

etc.

is HBOT available in Vancouver,B.C. Canada?

AND

Jim do you know where I would look for these products and which one do you

use?....

Oxyciser, chi machine, swingmaster & foot shaker. They sell from $99 to $480.

Please email me if it would be easier to answer that way.

Thank you for your help.

I bought one from Ed, at www.cerebrex.com. I believe his site sells them

for $325. I can present anyone who wants one as my sale & get it for you at my

price,

$250. I am a big client because I get them for a lot of friends. Everyone who

tries it.

His current model is a comercial grade, made for use in a doctor's

office. I had a cheesier one & gave it away when I got this one.

There is one available for $99 from QVC I think. It works as well,

but is cheesier. You can go either route & be satisfied. IMO, it is a matter of

how long

they last, and how smoothly thery operate. Ed's wins hands down.

Let me know after you look at them if you are interested in getting

one of these from Ed, & I'll get you a better price. I just want folks to

have them if they can. I love mine! It is real exercise! It breaks

the rule that there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Dear Olive,

Methylene blue protocol is five drops of MB in a half glass of water at

bedtime for 30 days.

H2O2 protocol is 8 oz of 35% in a tub of hot water and soak for 30 minutes.

Does quantity of H202 need to be proportionate to volume of water?

Dear Lash,

In general, yes.

However, it is not critical when dealing with a tub of water.

Abstracts from the Programme of the 13th International Congress on

Hyperbaric Medicine.

Kobe, Japan November 7 –12, 1999.

1. Neubauer R.A. Kagan R P. Hyperbaric Oxygenation for Cerebral Palsy

and the Brain Injured Child.

SPECT imaging supports the positive results reported from Canada and South

America and indicate the need for further studies on the role of HBO in CP.

With an appropriate protocol and timing, multiple disabilities in children

may be alleviated or possibly aborted.

2. Shaowei J, Zhi Yi, Wiyyuan Z, et al. The Effect of HBO on Neonatal

Hypoxic Encephalopathy.

SPECT scans of 34 babies with hypoxic encephalopathy showed 46 foci of low

perfusion and functional deficit in 31. 20 babies were compared with 11

controls. After 1 or 2 sessions of HBO there was a significant difference in

perfusion of the treated and control groups (P <0.01).

3. Ming H, Jianhua G, Quinli C, et al. HBO on the Mental Development of the

Newborn with Hypoxic Encephalopathy.

52 cases (28 newborns , 24 infants), treated between 1995 and 1998, compared

with 48 controls (20 newborns, 20 infants) and all followed up 12 months

later. The newborns received 10 treatments a day and infants 20 treatments.

The newborn babies obviously did better than the infants (p<0.01). After 12

months the difference between newborn treated babies and the controls was

significant (p<01). It is concluded that HBO has a long-term effect on

newborns but little in infants.

4. Zhi Y, Jianxiang L, Shaowei J et al. HBO on the Hypoxic Encepalopathy of

the Newborn.

48 babies treated with 10 daily treatments compared with 41 controls. In the

treated babies there was a response in 94% but with routine treatment alone

only 59% improved (P<0.05).

BOSTON (Reuters) - The over-the-counter dietary supplement glucosamine

sulfate appears to slow the progression of osteoarthritis, a study released

Monday at a meeting of the American College of Rheumatology showed.

Osteoarthritis, the world's most common form of arthritis, is the

deterioration of cartilage that cushions bones in the joints. It affects 12

percent of the population, sometimes leading to total joint replacement

surgery or disability.

A three year Belgian study released in Boston compared disease symptoms and

the average widths of joint space in 106 patients taking 1,500 milligrams a

day of glucosamine sulfate and 106 patients taking a placebo.

Researchers found that symptoms, including a narrowing of the joint space

width, worsened for patients taking the placebo. Those taking the

glucosamine

compound experienced no joint space width narrowing, while other symptoms

showed improvement, researchers found.

``For the first time, we have shown that a compound may be able at least to

slow down the progression of osteoarthritis,'' said Dr. Jean-Yves Reginster

of the University of Liege in Belgium.

Researchers said further trials, some of which are underway, must be

conducted to confirm the results.
