Guest guest
Dear Dr: I take 25-50mg. The dose is varied to keep me at 120/80. Am starting out with 25mg Inspra. Pressure this morning 110/78. I try to avoid salt, but I'm from an Italian background, where salt is life. I'll never forget saltless potato chips-ugh! Like fried cardboard. Spagetti, minestrone, veal scalopine- they need a little salt. I'm a fairly selfcontrolled individual. Don't drink or smoke. And work out regularly. But trying to change my diet-it doesn't work. Didn't someone say you are what you eat? Without the things I love to eat, who would I be. I live in the southwest where jalapinos are added to everything. I worked with a technician who had ulcers. At lunch he would be eating his mom's chilli relanenos with tears in his eyes. We'ed offer him peanut butter or balone sandwiches but he'd wave them away. Anglo food. No love there.
