Guest guest
You are exactly right. Salt is life. But too much is early death. The choice is always an individual thing but if you can control BP with diet why take drugs? Recommend you get the DASH diet book and read the science and then decide. Guest guest
There is old pig research that clearly shows if you want your pigs to gain the most fat you have to provided them with extra salt. May your pressure be low! CE Grim, BS (Chem/Math), MS (Biochem), MD. Guest guest
I should have said that an old farmers trick is to make animals drink more before they go to the slaughter house as the farmers used to be paid by live weight. I have a feeling the payment now is for carcass weight but it is a long time since I had much to do with hands on farming. My Grandparents farmed and when I worked in public accountancy practise when training I was a farm specialist. Now I just push paper around for the government of course........ better than milking goats on these cold morning though! It isn't even as cold as freezing here - just that icy, damp, and salt laden wind. Helen Original Message: ----------------- From: helen@... Helen@...
