It does stain yellow as you said. It looks pretty ugly at first but does fade over the day. I think it is slowly making it better. It's hard to tell just using it once a day as was the case with the medicine that cleared it us too. I am off for a few days so I will be able to give it a real trial which is put it on every time I wash my hands.Yes the yellow is ugly but then again the condition isn't pretty either. At it's worst my hands where red, swollen, cracked and bleeding. Not to mention itchy and painful.I think I'll take yellow over that.I'll keep you up to date. Oh, is ingesting it doing anything to clear yours up? I know it helped on your head but how is the other spot?Your co guinea pig ;DKim in ORFrom: Lea Ann Savage <lsavage@...>Subject: OT - Turmeric cured my eczema patch! OK - I've been waiting for definitive proof before reporting on this...As you know, we've been discussing Turmeric as an anti-inflamatory. In my research I ran across mention that Turmeric was also good for eczema. I've had a STUBBORN patch of eczema on my scalp for over 6 months now. I was CONSTANTLY picking at it (and cursing it). I was frustrated that all of my attempts at a healthy diet and the consumption of supplements to target lab-tested imbalances was having no effect on this infuriating eczema patch.I actually started taking Turmeric before I did all of my research so found it hopeful when I ran across claims that it helped with eczema. For the first few days it had no effect. In fact, on day 2 or 3 it started itching excessively (if it could possibly itch more than it used to) and I started getting ALL OVER itching of my body and the rest of my scalp

at night (I attributed this to the detox - assuming that the liver was expelling toxins and they were leaving via my skin). It's been about 8 days now that I've been taking 1-2 tsp of Turmeric daily- the itching at night subsided and is now gone and low and behold my eczema patch is now reduced by 90% - it has been getting smaller daily. It is a mere shadow of its former heinous self, and I expect it to be completely eradicated in the next 2-3 days!Regarding the Turmeric, I'm settled on my final method of ingestion. Although I'll add it to food now and then, the routine that has been working for me is to mix 2 tsp of Turmeric into 1 tbs of heavy cream (luckily I get raw cow's milk cream) with Stevia to help the taste and black pepper (supposed to help the absorption as does the fat in the cream). I dip into this globby mixture with a spoon and take out about an eighth of it, 4 times a day, so this

mixture will end up lasting 2 days. I keep it in the fridge in a glass shot glass with a small square of press-n-seal plastic as a re-sealable "lid".Hope this is helpful to anyone who has heinous, stubborn eczema patches that need eradicating! :-)

No it had no effect on the other spot prior to my putting in on topically, and so far it is only helping with the itching (topically). I think the other condition is a reaction to tart things like lemon, lime, and vinegar (which I consume in small amounts often - like in Durkee's sandwich spread or salad dressings) and I've noticed that I have a reaction to wine as well. This is such a bummer - I can EASILY give up wine, but I love vinegar and lemon or lime juice. Thanks for the update and I'd like to know how things turn out (look forward to your next update :-)

Lea Ann, have you tried strictly organic with the lemon and lime? I know pesticides on fruits and veggies can often cause skin issue. From: Lea Ann Savage <lsavage@...>Subject: OT - Turmeric cured my eczema patch! Date: Tuesday, March 8, 2011, 9:46 AM

Yes, and "organic" no sulfate wines too... It has something to do with the acid/sugar I think.
