They started calculating it this way since 5th grade (she's in 7th now) I

kind of felt like they were fudging the numbers so I made them write down why

they calculated it this way lol

For an update Ive been faithfully reading the posts but have been so darn

tired to respond lol Im working on this fixer upper home AND baby-sitting my

niece and nephew 10 hours a day. is 10 months old so you can imagine how

slow the renovations here have been lol my dining room is totally done and

most of the wallpaper in the house is gone, walls primed and ready for the

final painting. Schools is over May 26 and May 27th I will start the kitchen

redo

lol Hopefully since the new countertops are down the cabinets wont take to

long with me working faithfully on them. Mike works late afternoons until late

night so Im counting on him to entertain Sara at least through June. My

oldest daughter is getting married the end of July so I refuse to work on the

house that month ........ I feel like I haven't been any help to with

me

3 hours away and so busy here.

School for Sara this year has been good. The kids are the greatest and we

see them outside of school ..... so many approach her and introduce Sara to

their parents or friends as " My BEST FRIEND Sara " Sara's smile is so big I want

to tear up every time this happens. I am kind of sure that I have overwhelmed

Sara (first year) Sped math teacher lol every time we talk I can hear in her

voice that Sara's plan is more than she wants lol but her plan is being

implemented and I see Sara progressing so I know its working We took months

to

finalize Sara's IEP so really her annual date has changed now to the fall

............. I'm hoping they DON'T call an IEP meeting this month !!!!!! Im

still not sure if we want Sara to have ESY this summer with the wedding and

everything social Sara has planned. I may just work with her myself on current

goals so we don't have regression this fall.
