Whew, there sure is alot to be done when one moves out of their state and

into another! 's behaviors at his new school have been pretty bad.

I had his sister give him an afternoon dose of metadate to see if that would

help. He had a better day - we'll see if this works again on Monday/

Meanwhile, I called the principal and the director of pupil services. I

want to make sure the administration will support a 1:1 aide for now. Seems

they are already on the same page and requested a new FBA to be completed.

His IEP is scheduled for November 17th, but they may need to move it up.

I'm up to my eyeballs in paperwork for the MR Waiver and TEFRA Medicaid (I'm

applying for both- the TEFRA will kick in soon while the MR Waiver will take

awhile). I'm doing the TEFRA behavioral health paperwork on my own - this

is way kewl, b/c I'm back in a state that recognizes that parents are their

children's primary case managers. So far, everyone has been really nice and

helpful.

had his first psychological today. It was interesting to watch

him - especially when he knew the answers but answered the wrong thing. He

was given the TONI. The psychological is for the MR Waiver and TEFRA.

I threw my first party here - actually a baby shower for this past

Sunday. Two of my sisters and two nieces (and one nephew) came in. Tim's

family was also here along with 's childhood friend and her mother.

This house is set up for entertaining. In all the years we lived in VA, I

never threw a party except for a birthday party with our family only. I

took my niece and nephew to a Fright Farm (no one else was invited and we

had a blast. There is no way could have waited in line for 1 1/2

hours in the cold and then go through the haunted buildings with ghosts,

goblins, vampires, etc, chasing you through. Anyway, not sure if I will be

hosting Thanksgiving or not - is due on December 6th and we may be in

NC instead.

I'll have all four children home again this weekend - and my daughter in

law. I'm working on the old house tomorrow and then I am done! Tim is

going over after I come back home to finish up what he needs to do.

My next big thing is to find a daycare provider for - MIL is coming

for now, but I really need to find someone else.
