Guest guest
Picking grapes is the most odious of my show preparation chores. Sometimes the stems REALLY cling to the grapes. The vitamix will turn them into liquid but they are bitter so it is best to get as many of them off as possible. I find that there are some times in the year that the grapes practically fall off of the stems and times when they cling like barnacles on a ship :-) I figure they are more ripe when they fall off easily and were picked too early when they cling. Guest guest
If it's not something I'm going to eat, I can't see the point of letting the Vitamix process it. Grape stems are NOT something I eat. But washing, drying, and freezing grapes really isn't such an onerous chore and they keep forever (I do the plucking while watching TV). And they're SO good in smoothies. Guest guest
Good idea. I just plucked the large Costco container I had.
