Guest guest Posted January 31, 2011 Report Share Posted January 31, 2011 FYII made carrot juice today by cutting carrots into 1 inch pieces (about 10 carrots I think) and adding NO water - just used tamper and pounded them into the blades on high until it made a wet pulp. I checked the temperature and it only came up to 70 F (the carrots were colder than that when they came out of the fridge) so there was no enzyme "destruction".I put the mush into a nut milk bag and squeezed out carrot juice every bit as delicious as what is produced by my Champion Juicer and I think better because the fiber was much finer and dryer after I wrung it out in the nut milk bag.There is a link on our home page (links) to a seller of the nut milk bag that I used...
