Guest guest
Couldn't agree more. What a joke. Next we will have executives from big pharma doing studies that show how inefective manipulation is. Guest guest
It has been a long time since I posted. My Dad has had this problem for a long time, but truly it is so hard to watch him suffer. Can anyone shed some light on this? My Dad has a Defibrillator, his second. It was put into the same area as the 1st which was a smaller model. Since THIS Defibrillator is larger, the muscles and tissue around it tend to swell up around it causing him pain. He is in an assisted living facility. Can anything be done to alleviate this pain? The surgeon has been no help to us. Please advise. Thank you. Guest guest
Hi Joe-It's been about 3 years. There is no infection. It has been checked & re-checked. Everytime my Dad has " the pain " , they send him to the ER. My sister & I know that he is not having a heart attack-we know its pain from swelling from the ICD. The Nursing Home has its' hands tied as they have to send him to the ER when he complains of chest pains. His surgeon dismissed the pain all 5 times we saw him to discuss it. His cardiologist refers us back to the surgeon. My Dad is 86-it is very sad to see him live his last few years in pain....Thanks for the prayers. Guest guest
Jina, I've had mine nearly 6 years and it still aches, and there's nothing they can do about it. At 86, he can afford some pain relief. Give him the vicodin. When it's given for actual pain it's not that addictive. And if it is? He's 86. He's in a nursing home. He's not going to be roaming the streets looking for illegal drugs. Give him the vicodin, dear. Best, Lynn
