Guest guest Posted November 6, 2004 Report Share Posted November 6, 2004 Colleen, will your FIL be going to a rehab center or a regular nursing home? Hopefully, it is a rehab center. They do amazing things with patients. I know from experience when left the hospital last year and went into rehab for awhile. The staff did miraculous things. Thinking good thoughts for your FIL. Guest guest Posted November 6, 2004 Report Share Posted November 6, 2004 Jeanine- My FIL has gone home, and from what I understand, he plans on staying there. He had visitors in and out all day today, so he'll sleep good tonight! My in-laws were told in the hospital that a physical therapist would come to there house 3x a week. Then they found out that a therapist will be coming only once. After that I don't know what they are supposed to do, but there is no way my MIL can get him out of the house on her own, then into their van, etc. Still not sure when is coming home.
