Does anyone know how to get the smell of cigarette smoke out of a

silicone mold? I got one in the mail today that I swear smells like

cigarette smoke, but washing with dish detergent didn't do it. I was

going to try an alcohol bath, but didn't want the silicone to take on

that smell.

Any suggestions? Thanks all!

Here is my idea. and I dontknow if they will work... Make some strong

smelling soap and pour it in and let it sit in it for a while.

Or put strong solution of baking soda and water and let it it in it.

Kinda wierd that it smells like that. Have you ever ordered from

soapmoldsrus before?

hmmm how about coffee grounds? Fresh and dry. I'd place the mold in

something and cover it with fresh dry coffee grounds and leave it for a few

days. Remember my post about the lady who died in an apartment building I

lived in? Coffee!
