Guest guest
Colleen, Just sprinkle a few tsp of lye down the drain. Maybe run just a tiiiny bit of cold water to get it to the clog. Check it in 5 or 10 minutes and see if it runs better. Dont you jsut love that these happens when the man is away? Maybe try that and see what happens? Shaye Sluggish drains Can someone tell me what the lye/vinegar technique is to clean sluggish drains? I don't think the people that lived here before us believed in using hair catchers & just threw whatever down the drains. LOL, I'm getting tired of standing in 2 inches of water while taking a shower!! Thanks all! Guest guest
Thanks Shaye! It was actually happening before left, but my lye was buried in the closet. I just dug it out this afternoon. I'm itching to make some soap! Colleen Country Meadow Creations http://www.countrymeadowcreations.com

I close the drain so my feet are standing in water... also makes the bottom of the tub warm up faster... it's cold up here! > > Thanks all! > > Colleen > Country Meadow Creations > http://www.countrymeadowcreations.com
Guest guest
> ... it's cold up here! LOL, it's cold here now too! Okay, not as cold as NY, but cold enough. My poor husband is up there now & not liking it one bit. Because of the ice we've got, school is closed again on Wednesday. That's 3 days in a row!!! This always happens to me when isn't around. I get to listen to Zachary complain about how bored he is all by myself!
