It's just that a lot of these viruses come into your computer in emails that " appear " to be from an email address that you think is from someone you know but it's reallly not. Guest guest Posted February 12, 2004 Report Share Posted February 12, 2004 That's how the virus gets around so fast. FNWL unfortunetly opened an email with the virus. As soon as that was done it locates ALL email addresses on their system and sends it back out with their addy. The latest one takes about 10 seconds or less to send out over a 1000. I got an email back from them today saying DO NOT open these, someone got their email addy and is sending them out. They NEVER send attachments. That's why I don't open ANY attachments any more even if the name appears to be someone I know. In fact, I was thinking that it was kind of odd for FNWL to have an attachment to their email because they never had in the past.
