Guest guest Posted November 22, 2004 Report Share Posted November 22, 2004 Bren had one done when he was about 6 I think-It's like a c-section incision -over to the side--I carried him for a day-Boy did he bounce back and quick-tylenol-no need for pain meds although we had them- He really was o.k. Closed with steristrips I think and dissolveable stitches. Seems so long ago-he's now 11 and this summer had 8 baby teeth extracted in the hospital-asleep. He was flying around the living room that afternoon and ate regular supper!!-I on the other hand was drained!! Waited all afternoon for him to lay down and relax-watch a movie-no go-it is so hard on us parents- they really have no clue what is going to happen-they don't anticipate pain or being uncomfortable like we do-good thing I guess-hope this helps you--- judy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
