Okay guys I have a delicate question for you. Micah has been to see a

surgeon a couple of times because his testicles have not descended. My ped sent

me

when he was two (she found it right away buut waited until then saying it was

time)> Both times I have gone the surgeon has put it off saying he thinks

they might come down. Now two years later I have to go again. I am getting

concerned about waiting because I don't know what the pain factor is with this

surgery but would think the younger the better. Has anyone gone through this?

I

just don't want them to put him off thinking it is not important because he

has DS> I don't know what to think as my ped said it should be done at two.

What about it guys any info on this subject??

Loree, probably time to have a good talk with your ped, and maybe

suggest seeing someone else for a second opinion. It still may be

okay for a wait and see approach, but as you say the operation will

be harder for him, as he gets older. My way of thinking their is

more the embarrsement factor rather than the pain.
